The San Luis Obispo County Junior Golf Association offers Golf Camp Programs and Junior Golf Tournaments throughout the Summer and Fall for Boys and Girls of all ages.

Golf events are hosted at a variety of local courses, including Sea Pines, Monarch Dunes, Hunter Ranch, Cypress Ridge, Avila Beach, Dairy Creek, Morro Bay, Chalk Mountain, Blacklake and San Luis Obispo Country Club.

Golf Select

NEW!Selected Juniors are invited to train and compete as a team. This unique opportunity provides players with bi-monthly group sessions that truly give the JR access to world class training at a fraction of the price. Along with training players will recieve tournament evaluations, video analysis, personal tournament preperation plans and much more. Contact Spencer Dennis at Journeyman Golf for more information.

Junior Tour

For Boys and Girls ages 7-17 who seek to grow in the game, there is plenty of competitive opportunity in our Junior Summer and Fall Series.

Junior divisions include Boys 16-17, 14-15, 12-13, 11-Under - Girls 14-17, 13-Under.

Boys 12-17 & Girls 14-17 play 18 holes. Boys & Girls "Under" divisions play 9 holes. The top two leaders in each division of the Summer Series will represent the SLOJGA at the Loren's Roberts Cup.

Mini Tour

For Boys and Girls up to 12 years old, there is plenty of opportunity to test your skills on local executive courses while having fun on the new Mini Tour!

TOUR GUIDELINES

Mini Tour divisions include 6-under, 7-8, 9-10, and 11-12. Boys and Girls ages 9-12 play 9-hole tournaments from the back tees, ages 7-8 play 6-hole tournaments from the forward tees, and ages 6-under play 3-hole tournaments from the forward tees.

Golf Camps

SLOCJGA Golf Camps include professional golf instruction and skills challenges including on course play, rules, etiquette, putting, pitching, chipping, full swing.

A hat, daily drinks, snacks and range balls are included. Campers should bring their own golf clubs, a water bottle and sunscreen. Camp will provide clubs if needed.

Returning campers are encouraged to attend camps at different golf courses.

Membership, Sponsors, Volunteers

Sign up now for our 2011 Season ($25 fee through Dec 31st). Learn golf skills, rules, and etiquette. Participate in competitive events and earn points towards qualification for our annual Loren Roberts Cup!
